Harley & Holly Nielsen
Both Harley & Holly came from farming families and grew up the best way a kid could be raised. Holly's Family grows Corn & Soybeans by Hanley Falls and Harley's Family has a large/small animal Veterinary Practice by Tyler, MN. Harley's Dad first gave the Piedmontese breed a try around 2010, mostly taking advantage of A.Iing his Hereford cows to Pied bulls, and selling the resulting beef locally.
It wasn't until 2023 that Harley & Holly branched off on their own and started their own herd just west of Hanley Falls, MN. We had to build everything from scratch. All infrastructure had to be bought or built. We spent the better part of a year, (as just boyfriend/girlfriend at the time) building summer pastures, dry lots, digging water lines, and buying up a lot of used equipment, or "Hand-me-Downs" from both sides of the family. Nothing will prove whether or not your with the right person like going into cattle together...
It worked. We got married June 14th, 2025.
Why We Do It
Know where your food comes from
Do you hate Walmart? We do too...
"Raise your own Protein, Grow your Own Garden". We take that literally here. We also live in a world where "doing it yourself" provides financial freedom from the grocery store. From our Greenhouses to Cattle Pastures, we care about where are food comes from, how it was grown, and honestly we like to know exactly what's in it. This is how we attain that.
We do this for ourselves, but sell it too so others can experience the same financial benefits while knowing your food is sustainable, superior, and offers peace of mind.

Our Goal
Better the Breed & Raise Good Beef
First and foremost, we sell beef. Good Beef. Something you can't just get anywhere else. As we grow in scale, our goal is to continue providing the tender, healthy beef the Piedmontese breed is so well-known for.
As we better the genetics of our herd, we aspire to raise seedstock quality animals that more then just ourselves can take advantage of.
