Our next two animals going to butcher are on September 2nd & September 29th, 2025. We have two 1/4s, or one 1/2 beef left. Will be processed at Ruthton, MN Locker. Buyer Pays 1/4, 1/2, or whole Liveweight of Animal & Beef Processing Fee

Pounds Expected Vary Between Animals and how you want it processed, but generally 100-200lbs total beef.
1,400lb steer yields 65% carcass weight = 910lbs / 4 = 228lbs (account for some shrinkage)
Pricing: $2.60/lb of 1/4 live weight
Example: 1/4 live weight of 1,400lb steer is 350lbs x $2.60 = $910 (plus processing)
Half Beef
Get All the Cuts you're looking for, feed the family, and at the best value
Pounds Expected Vary Between Animals and how you would like it processed, but generally 300-400lbs total beef.
1,400lb steer yields 65% carcass weight = 910lbs / 2 = 455lbs (account for some shrinkage)
Pricing: $2.60/lb of 1/2 live weight
Example: 1/2 live weight of 1,400lb steer is 700lbs x $2.60 = $1,820 (plus processing)
Whole Beef
Fill the freezer for a while
Pounds Expected Vary Between Animals and how you would like it processed, but generally 700-900lbs total beef.
1,400lb steer yields 65% carcass weight = 910lbs (account for some shrinkage)
Pricing: $2.60/lb of live weight
Example: Live weight of 1,400lb steer x $2.60 = $3,640
